A quick update on the Carmina dark brown suede balmoral boot (aka RogerP boots) GMTO - we have reached the min required 6 participants. This is a separate GMTO from the polo suede bal boot whose prepayment link is already available at Skoak's.

The 10% expected increase for boots, though not EG or GG-esque, is still a bit of change and the participation of at least one member in this GMTO is dependent on whether the price could be locked to the current rates same as the current polo suede balmoral boot GMTO.

If that's the exact same boot Leatherfoot and @arneben did I would feel kind of a douche for doing a GMTO for it. Have you talked to them about this project first, given its their original idea?

It's to your credit to take the high road, and while I don't presume to speak for Arne, I think this is just a standard 80092 in standard ante marron - not something of a unique makeup in either style or materials. In my books you guys are both exemplary of all that is good in premium men's footwear retailers.

I tend to agree with Roger here if the boot is basically a stock boot. But it shows what a stand-up dude Patrik is.

Thanks for the heads up. Now that you mentioned it, I did look up leatherfoot's site and it's not exactly the same make up, the main difference being the sole type. Leatherfoot's make up is more like the stock 080092 from Carminas website, but in Robert last.

To be honest I didn't know there was a similar leatherfoot make up as I was basing the design off the stock Model 080092 on Carmina's online store but with single Dainite sole instead of half rubber sole.

Please let us know if the change in sole quaIifies this as a GMTO we could process by way of Skoak. We would understand if you would be hesitant to accept this GMTO though as your approach to dealing with peers is one of the reasons we like doing business with you.

2. Can't do this man, sorry. It will be like opening up Pandora's Box, that's why we can't allow transfers on pre-orders.

I know the Polo Suede might not be considered so different from Dark Brown Suede in many people's mind but at least it's a color we actually made Carmina introduce and is unique for us right now (at least until some other retailer stocks it, and I'm sure they will).
