So may I know if Betis is going to be thicker & stronger? you know hmm... all factors like creases, shine & texture is what making a black/navy wholecut awesome

Betis is slightly thicker.

What is the difference between Betis and Vitello?

Two different tanning methods, I honestly don't know the exact technical differences. Betis is often used for sporty and casual style shoes and Norvegese style shoes and boots. When Betis is finished it has a slightly marbled appearance. I would not use Betis for a formal style shoe or boot.

There are several if you look under the picture gallery in the Bonafé thread. Here's one:

Saw this old post on the Enzo thread, would you guys know what model / last this is (and whether it is still in production)? Definitely going to order one or two things!

Please let us check this with Bonafé next week and let you guys know by then.

That's a great style and great choice of material. That looks like a half Blake/Half hand welted construction. It's Blake constructed in the waist to give it a slimmer look. It's common for the styles they make for Japan.

Just checked out the website and noticed the prices may have dropped a bit. Is the dropping euro having an affect on your pricing?

Conversion rates are what change the prices. The USD prices have been dropping for a while.

Yes, USD is very strong right now, good news for our US clients.

Hi Leaves, question on colour again. Found these pics from the Bonafe's thread. Do you know what colour are there?

1) The brown wholecut on the left:

2) Not sure if this is burgundy or Etrusco.

Bottom one is Etrusco but finished differently than out wholecut. Top one also looks like Etrusco taken with a flash.

Wow, but they look so different from each other. If I would like to have the exact shade of your wholecut Etrusco, what should I say in the order?

Keep in mind that the exact shade you see in the picture may not be the exact shade you see in real life. The differences you are seeing may be due to lighting, flash, etc…, although I'd expect that, on top of that, there is also plenty of subtle color variation from batch to batch that is unlikely to be replicable with 100% success.

Yeap, I understand that. The settings on my computer will affect the colour shown as well. I will just like to know what options we have on Bonafe's finishing and how it will affect the colour, in general. I know it won't be the exact same shade but at least I'll able to get a close enough idea

Thanks for the warning though!
