Do you have any examples of the difference between Norvegese and Chained Norvegese?

I have the real deal Galway and it doesn't fit me at all. Need to get rid of them but I loved the style

Why not try a different last/size/width?

Does 804 have a lower instep than 946? What about heel width?

its an expensive experiment for sure. Ive tried 2 pairs of EG and different lasts/sizes and they dont fit me very well. Kinda annoying so I am trying to replicate with other manufacturers.

I think a rounded toe like the 74945 last or even the 363MOD last would be great. Do it with whiskey shell lowers and then uppers with pebble grain:

Thoughts?

Has anyone done a two leather PTB? Like burgundy calf lower with dark brown llama upper? Or can you only do that for boots?

Is the EB double monkstrap fixture pure leather or elastic?

Also, would the addition of a toe medallion be considered a pattern change?

I don't think so. Probably making it wider or narrower. Also taking a last and making it a loafer when it's designed to be a boot or vice versa
