You can get any last you want. I'm making a pair for myself on the 74948 last in suede. Placing the order as soon as I know if they can do a seamless Chelsea. It won't be a full seamless style though, there will still be a seem at the heel.

Is 74948 a model on the 74945 last or are we talking about two different lasts?

I think seamless whole-cut Chelsea boot would be a little too much to ask for. I do not think I have ever seen one.

They have 60 lasts. They have about 4000 styles (!!!). I kid you not.

Don't tighten the laces when they are in the hooks, do it before and just lay them around the hooks.

There is a film here somewhere showing how to do it....

^^^ That's what I do and don't have any issue with shredded laces.
