I was told the Dark Cognac Shell Jumper was layed a few weeks but they did not tell me it was because of Shell shortage.
Is the shortage for all shell cordovan or is it cognac only? Hope it won't take too long.

Technically a cap toe is dressier than a split toe but I always associate the Galway as a country (Veldtschoen) boot whereas the few Nevis boots I've seen have been primary made with smooth uppers. My reference point for the Nevis was from RL so it might be too accurate (and technically it was called the Branden or something like that).

Y'all will hate me but I'm not too much of a fan of suede uppers... but you never know... smile.gif

I am definitely open to suggestions and I dont own anything like the Nevis but I am not sure how I feel with it being in some of the color palettes we are discussing. I do think the Galway or shannon might be the right way to go if we do decide on some sort of 2 tone burgundy/medium brown.

That berry suede is amazing IMO

I was doing some online image searching and this came up and I think this would be killer in the color combo posted above with the berry suede:

I actually saw this picture some time ago. I think it's a MTO boot in twilight. I have a pair of Shannons in the same colorway (twilight shaft/midnight uppers... I think that's the right):

Untitled
Brand new

EG 011
Probably about 15 wears (3+ miles each time)

Personally it's one of the hardest colors for me to match out of all my other footwear but when I do wear them they get noticed!

Dppr those boots are incredible. My thought was to share that winged version to use that style with the colors we have been talking about. Burgundy top and mid brown on the bottom

Sounds interesting! I wonder if that boot was an old style. I haven't done EG MTO and not sure if they need a 'template' boot. Maybe the Arderley but just on the 888... where's aportnoy when we need him!

Those are beautiful. I'll keep watching for a GMTO.

I wonder if Leaves can step in and maybe take this by the horns. It is very unique for sure but thats the reason to do a MTO right? I am open to anything but I figured this would spark some interest as it is something I havent really ever seen before
