Yes, it would be blasphemous

I figured… I may need to do an MTO version for myself but I think I will try to push that until next Fall. I've thought about exactly what you are suggesting and it would be stunning, but I cannot justify more leather-soled boots (right now especially).

Did you proceed with your single MTO? What are the specs of what you chose?
I did. Ullswater on 202 last. I am still working out some final details of welt and edge trim but will be doing an Ullswater in Brandy Willow

Edward Green Brandy Willow Calf Pre-Order

This will be a very limited run, we only have enough Brandy Willow to make up 10 pairs in total and some of these are already spoken for for various Single MTO projects. So we're looking at a small run of 6-8 pairs. First come, first serve! Please e-mail [email protected] to sign up. If you wish to book a slot for a single MTO Brandy Willow, you also need to contact us ASAP, we will only allow a maximum of 4 Brandy Willow MTOs. Thanks!

Willow Calf is original Ilcea leather (from the tannery in Turin). This tannery has shut down now but the Ilcea name has been bought out by someone else. It’s ilcea who made the Heather Gorse/Zug. Edward Green will not buy Willow Grain again, according to my source at EG. The Dover was one of the models that were made up in Willow originally (do not know how long ago this was though).

The make up will be this:

  • Model: Edward Green Dover
  • Color: Brandy Willow Calf
  • Last: 202 last - E fitting (might be an opening for 2-3 pairs in other widths)
  • Sole: H/A (double leather sole)
  • Price ex VAT, outside the EU: 7280 SEK
  • Price incl. VAT, within EU: 9100 SEK
  • EG trees: 720 SEK / 900 inc. VAT
  • Deposit: 25% pre-order deposit, 75% before delivery

This is a Brandy Willow Dover on the 606:
1000

Please note that all the Brown Willow (5 pairs) have been spoken for. Thanks to @tifosi and the other members who pushed us to do a GMTO for this.

I just emailed. I hope there is a slot left!

Hi guys, an update for the Willow Calf. We'll e-mail a deposit link for the Dover in Brandy Willow soon. We have only one spot left for the Brandy Willow. E-mail us if you want in on the Dover Brandy Willow GMTO or if you wish to do a single MTO.
