Found this Lobb on the Leatherfoot page.
It's museum calf. Would this be an accurate representation of the colour?

Yes, they have dark brown, plum, gold, and green (maybe others, but I know those off the top of my head)

That's a very interesting material actually. Would be nice to see the prototypes when they are released.

Just spoke to Massimo Bonafè (Enzo's son) and I got a confirmation that we will try to do a few prototypes in Radica Calf a.k.a. Museum Calf just to see if Enzo will approve of the result. They have not worked with Radica before so it'll be interesting to hear their feedback.

Sounds very GOOOOD!

I'm trying to get burgundy wholecuts not black wholecuts! (Though I want the vadar soles too)
Patrik, can we approach enzo bonafe to see the possibility for two black and one burgundy? All other details are the same and I believe leather in both colour is stock item.

I would be in if the above is possible. Basically just switch the black for burgundy.

If they are satisfy with the result, I would propose a JL Chapel style double monk in Gold or Plum museum!

^ If they have it, I'll go for a bal boot. MTO fee be damned.

Here is Ilcea Museum Gold on a Vass Old English II.  Beautiful leather, IMO.  I hope Bonafe decides to run with it.

Just did MTO of this model and in that leather but with a few tweaks...can't wait to see the final result.

I do believe (RogerP can correct me) that that leather is from the old supplier that went out of business, the new companies leather looks slightly different (lighter)

Yes, though I read someplace the Ilcea is being revived, Vass presently sources their Museum calf from a different supplier.

Even for Ilcea, mine seem to have more of a reddish undertone than is the norm.
