The answer is that there will be no extra surcharge for Museum Calf for the Bonafé models we'll get in stock shortly. We visited the factory today and got a confirmation.

Thanks.  What if it's GMTO or MTO?  Also, does Bonafe make lasted shoe trees? I find that their chiselled last does not take 3rd party trees that well.

You just posted some off the wall crap in the epaulet x carmina thread too

There will be no extra surcharge for museum calf in any of those cases. They do not have lasted trees, but we have noticed that our own shoe trees fit the chiseled last really well.

I'm sorry for the late reply and not keeping you updated as well. Carmina has a problem sourcing grain at the time. They are looking for more sources as their current tannery is letting them down repeatedly.

Aye, the edge dressing has not been applied, that is done in the very final stages of production, there will be no contrasting edge dressing.

Very nice!  So is there anyone who is interested in a GMTO of a wholecut version of either shoes in Plum museum and chiselled last?  My preference would be with brouging. Pls note that the shoes below are not Bonafe.
