Can't commit just like that, depends on the definitive makeup, but sparked my interest for sure!

Was originally looking for burgundy boots with speed hooks, a punched captoe and single Dainite soles on Oscar last. This sounds about like the perfect boot, in a different (perhaps more versatile, thinking about it) colour.

Do you have an idea of the exact colour you're looking for?

Dark brown preferably. Something like the Edward green dark oak.

Great, was hoping you'd say that.

There seems to be quite some variation in EG dark oak. (albeit due to camera settings and lighting)
I'm not really into this:

But am digging this (the bottom part of course):

Yeah - definitely more the shade reflected in the bottom pic than in the top one. Not sure what the Carmina equivalent is but that's the type of brown I'd like.

Okay - I'm going to get pedantic for a moment.  The upper on that Galway is Dark Oak, the shaft is darker Walnut Country Calf.

I'm not sure what Carmina's closest comparable shade would be, but it might be worth scrolling through Skoak's Carmina selections to see if there is anything close.

Like these (without the scotch grain)?

I think these boots may be on the robert last, I definitely prefer the toe shape to that of the oscar.

I wonder whether they're the same as http://www.skoaktiebolaget.se/collections/carmina/products/carmina-bal-boot-grain-calf?

They look a lot better in the wild.

Thanks for the education ;)
I couldn't really find anything real close to the dark oak on those Galway boots, not sure what the possibilities are here.

I think that's a little more reddish as brown?
I prefer the Oscar as it has a little wider and rounder toe box, and isn't so elongated.

These are a mix of materials, but it's probably better to use Carmina brown boots as a starting point for colour reference:

Thanks to guys for bringing these things to Stockholm. Its such a privilege to be able to attend these things.

And for those that could not attend. Here are just a few samples of some of the Carminas from the trunk show.

Judging by how crowded it was I'd say the trunk show was a hit :)

Thanks for the pics!  Love the blue suede / croc number.

+1 On the above! Thanks for the pics, incidentally providing a live pic of a shade of brown in there :)

Could you tell me how high these boots are? I'm set on getting boots, but have no idea on how different eyelet configurations would turn out in real life.
Edit: If anyone else has an overview of different boots and their measurements, that's welcome! Think the jumper boots would be about right, a proper boot, but not all the way up to the calf I think?

The one on the right you mean I assume? That looks fairly reddish on my screen here, is that correct?

Nope, the middle. The one on the far right is too reddish for my liking.
