Well I know what the Wensum looks like - I don't know that the R1 is the same as Wensum - is it?

If I had to choose, I would take Dainite - it has a slightly firmer feel underfoot (which I like) and seems to just be fractionally thicker, which is useful for elevating the boot out of the slush.

Have seen pictures of ridgeway on a Galway in 606. Very tempting idea.

Hi guys.

I did a interest check for a Bonafé shearling lined chukka boot two weeks ago want to follow that up with the complete MTO idea. The lining will be in the whole shoe except the insole. Sole will be a double dainite with storm welt, think it´s the only option with a winter boot like this. Delivery time is 10-12 weeks.

The guys from Skoaktiebolaget will comment on the exact price, shipping cost, VAT deduction and sizing. Please don´t ask me.

To give you an idea how i want the boot to look here´s two pics of a JL chukka:

This Bonafé model:

On this last (363):

The color i want is Jasper (second from right):

You will have the option to have your personal message on the insole (included in price):

If you´re interested, PM me.

Cheers[/quote

Did this Bonafe MTO ever get off the ground? I'm just curious if the participants have received their boots and what their experience with the fur lining was. Is it warm? Durability? Would they recommend it? Any negatives to having fur lined boots?

I was the one trying to get it going but didn´t get 3 people for a GMTO. When it was clear it was januari and I decided to wait with my order until later this year so I get the boot this fall. Will try to get a GMTO going, otherwise I will just order it alone.

Looks good.  I'm guessing that since the GMTO has been open since yesterday, and presumably orders have been taken based on the leather sole, alternates are no longer an option in any event.

Very tempted by this boot - will ponder it carefully over the next week.

Yeah I remember that I may be interested in it too. Let's say sometimes in the late summer for fall delivery?

This is the 202 last for me. Too big and then too small - all at the same time.

Ok guys, we are short of 1 to make this MTO happen so would appreciate if anyone else is interested.

Bonafe Double Monk Last 804, model number 2364 in Dark Grey Suede, Single Leather Sole, Fiddleback Waist

In other words, this exact model but in Dark Grey

Well since you put it that way, how can anyone resist. Your going to be surrounded by AWESOMENESS and you'll be drowning so you'll be dead and food will no longer be a necessity.

But your going to be surrounded by AWESOMENESS!!!!LOL

Guys, I'm off to Amsterdam (visiting only museums and art galleries, of course cheers.gif) this weekend, I'll not be able to answer any questions or requests, just so you know. See you on Monday!

I won't believe you, don't take marijuana, don't attend red light & gay bar. You will be extremely popular there.

Are you able to bring me some harling though?
