Gabriel,
Thanks, what about the soles? Full rubber commando or combination rubber/leather commando. I would prefer a full rubber commando soles.

The top of the vamp and sides are lined too. It's pretty thin and compresses easily...doesn't feel like you're cramming your foot into an UGG.

Thanks, this helps. With the warm insole it could be good for winter.

My Galways are lined only on shafts and are damned cold like ordinary (non-lined) boots.

I tried the boot on in the store today. Also I can confirm that my normal Rain size fit me well in the boot.
A very nice boot, even though it is too light in color for my taste in a real winter boot.
I would have bought it if it were in a darker color, but I'll pass on the MTO due to delivery in March.

maybe this is the answer for me:  if two find that this soller-lasted boot fits them the same as a standard width rain-lasted shoe, then the soller last will be too narrow for me because the standard width rain last is too narrow for me.  A drag.

I guess I will pose the question:  is a soller last akin to an "e" width in U.S. sizing or more narrow than that?   Thank you.

These are nowhere near a US "E".  I'm 10D US TTS and the Soller 9 is pretty much perfect (at least with this lining). I happen to be wearing a 9.5D Lindrick today, and those feel more like an "E" after trying on the Carmina.

Thank you for your prompt reply.  I appreciate it.  Not the news I wanted to hear, but better than buying shoes that don't fit.  Thanks again.

I was part of the GMTO for the Dark Cognac Jumper Boots from Carmina, but due to certain circumstances I will not be able to wear these for quite a while, so I am hoping to sell them (in a sense). If anybody is interested, it would be as if you were purchasing from Skaok directly.

Here are the details:
Boot: Carmina Jumpers

Color: Dark Cognac (Note: Should be similar to the above, but may not be exact)
Last: Oscar Last (I believe this fits similarly to the Forest last)
Price: Approx. $720 - excluding VAT (This could change, but I believe it is a fairly good deal relative to other Carmina retailers)
Size: 9 UK / 10 US

Please PM me for details and / or any questions.

Thanks!

Is anyone able to give somewhat of an idea what the exchange rate is for US dollars if it's different than what Google shows? Thanks.

I found that we don't pay the actual exchange rate. Paying through paypal or CC usually means getting charged a little more (service charges, etc...).

Tell me about it.

My tracking notice shows mine are still located in Sweden.

Shipping to Canada by trackable post takes about a week.  Going by the tracking, the package generally seems to spend most of that time taking a scenic tour of Sweden. :)  Once it departs Sweden, it gets to me right quick.  But it's still about a week overall.
