6 months could be the quoted time for GMTOs.

This (http://www.skoaktiebolaget.se/pages/edward-green-made-to-order) says 4 months for MTO.

Edit: The % deposit is different between GMTO and MTO, as well.

But it will probably be closer to 6 months.

I think you might be right, as the rush to buy now will probably push some orders back a bit.

Yeah and I'm hoping this rush won't have any impact on the orders I had in previous to this month. I'm pretty confident it won't on the order that was due this month, but I'm hoping it won't impact the order I put in January.

What color and leather did you choose?

As in don't buy too many brown shoes?  This would be my second pair.  I'm really only interested in brown and burgundy right now as a new lawyer.  I don't want to be flashy.  Eventually I'll venture into lighter colors, navy shell (really like that), and other variations.

There is no such thing as too many brown shoes.

Been lurking on this thread for way too long. Finally pulled the trigger on the G&G black Sinatras which have been calling my name for far too long...

Cannot wait to get them!

As in you can never have enough. Variations are great as well.

That's plenty of time to slowly mention a few more pairs. You think if I get in on the Galway preorder they'd show up at the same time? @RogerP's photos are making that one hard to pass on. No one is buying the G&G Hove in size 10....never tried G&G, if I knew sizing better they would be on their way stateside. If no one buys them by next week I'll probably have to pull the trigger. Patrick said it is a pain to change pricing on in stock models....

Nah, been at it a long time, just need to play my cards right, if they all show up at the same time....that's a little different.

Hard to say...I guess it depends on when the pre-order closes and Skoak submits the order.

Ditto.

The Burnham GMTO is irresistible. Well, it was for me anyway.

It's pretty difficult to preplan exactly when shoes or boots of this nature will arrive exactly. I've had some arrive earlier than anticipated and even Skoak has had some Pre-Orders arrive later than originally anticipated.
