I was looking at my collection of pants to see if black boots would work for me... Sadly I only found grey wool flannel trousers and black jeans. I don't think I could wear black boots with my tweed trousers in different shades of brown/tan.

Correct. All gone

I have no use for a black boot but if I did it'd be that Frankenstitch--so badass!

Man, this cloud one looks very sharp

Has the Frankenstitch ever been GMTO ran in a coloured calf?  Say Navy?   I'm too small time for shell.

Thanks. I saw that second picture last night while I was searching on Google. Is that Nevis in the first one cloud?

I've seen Frankenstitch in non-Shell and it did nothing for me. We've never made it in anything but Shell.

Sounds fair, it does look great in shell.

Might work in something like Burgundy Chromexcel though.

That, or Navy CXL with a contrasting stitching was my thought.  Also like that new Burgundy casual boot in Burgundy CXL you posted previously.

I'm sorry, it didn't occur to me to take photos then. It is however similar to something like this. The dyes are definitely applied less evenly than anything I've seen from Horween, almost mimicking the Radica calf except in Shell.

Is cloud just grey, or grey mixed with some other color?
