Will the fur lined boots with tærnsjø-leather come out this year? Will the leather come from the tærnsjø tannery?
Yes, we hope this will come in around mid November. The leather will be from Tärnsjö, yes.
Any news on the Bonafe baby lama chukkas?
Excuse me? Is this a GMTO or an in stock?? That sounds insane
Baby Lama is a kind a grain. It looks similar to shrunken calf. Should arrive end of month. Please e-mail us to be on the waiting list for this model.
An inspiration for those boot guys G&G TG73 Canterbury Vintage Grey calf & dark grey suede
We have a similar model incoming from Bonafé later this month, but it will be on a round last.
Whoever is in charge of ordering from Carmina did an excellent job choosing those saddle shoes. The blue suede and tan grain pair up excellently. I would have preferred it on a more rounded last like Forest if I'm being picky but, all in all, it's a beautiful shoe.
Thanks. This model was developed by the whole team, just like most models we offer.

Just took delivery of my Carmina balmoral grain boots as well (luckily I got in on the order as soon as it was listed) and they sure look pretty! Was supposed to take delivery last Friday but of course was at the mercy of USPS incompetency since then.

They feel good with a nice fit (tiny bit of extra width at ball of the foot but think that's okay) and this is my first time trying this last (sized down 1 full size from AE 5 last). Above the outside of the ankle on the upper grain part, feels like there's a little bit of volume of space and can feel little pockets when I push down on them (no such volume above the interior of the ankle area). Is that something that will go away as they break in and the uppers loosen?

The only issue I came across (and minor at that) is this glue-looking sticky part on one of the captoes. Something to use a little bit of Saphir light brown cream on to see if it goes away?

I have to find a way to rescue my Carmina delivery from USPS during my lunch break tomorrow. :embar:

I had that glue residue on a pair of my austerity brogues before. I was able to peel it away, but the color of the shoe is different under it. YMMV.

Leaves, can you give us any details about the forthcoming aubergine jodhpurs from Bonafe? They sound interesting...

These will be made up on the 804 last and on a slim rubber sole that Bonafé calls Millerighe rubber soles. It has actually been slightly delayed because the soles have not been delivered yet.

Nope, but it's not Illcea (now incorporated into GVT). Bonafé primarily go through a leather merchant that they have been using for decades. Many makers go through merchants (like AA Crack in the UK, there are several in Italy but I don't know the names of them) and not directly to the tanneries. I can ask when I visit them October 1.

They offer so many sole combinations that it would only open up for a lot of misunderstandings if we posted them all. Please e-mail us if you have any specific requests about soles.

I was only wondering about the rubber soles they have. I like my parabootsole which is a kind of vibram one. Its advantage is that it is more solid than dainite, but on the other hand it looks more "heavy". So does Carmina have a kind of vibram sole (welted of course) that is "thin" (as a dainite I would say)?

I truly feel sorry for anyone who did not get to purchase the Carmina X Dandy Shoe Care collab. The shoes are ******* gorgeous. Just received them today. My brother who usually couldn't give a rats ass about shoes was like WOW. His jaw dropped and said those were incredible. Here are some crappy pics that I was sending to my tailor about pant length but shows shoes
