Depends on lighting I think. I think vintage cedar can have a nice pop. Can look really red in some photos.

Though, counterpoint:

Agreed on both parts. The St. James in Vintage Cherry is my favorite of that coloring by far.

I love how different the Vintage Cedar can look in different situations. What other leather and color is on the double monk? Oh and I love the antiquing that was done on the toe! Just enough.

We are of course also accepting MTOs for this new boot. Base price is 10 000 SEK including VAT / 8000 SEK ex VAT, plus MTO surcharge. Edward Green MTO Service Standard with a surcharge of 1800 (1440 SEK ex VAT) offers the possibility to select sole, leather and lining. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

No MTO 2? I think I might be interested in chestnut utah with 82 last if it was possible. Kind of like the G&G bespoke pair:

Navy utah galway! I think it looks nicer with 82 last and no buckle too.

Not sure, based off a previous MTO I'm guessing 7440 sek or $922 usd at current exchange rate for GMTO boots without trees. If you and sacafotos are interested we'd have three and need two more assuming you are both E width. Would have to confirm the color of the uppers though since I think the color in the photos was a one off.

Just thinking hard to choose a suit for matching a midnight blue shoe...

Solaro or navy?

Light grey is probably best. Going to wear mine with grey pinstripes tomorrow. However between the two I prefer not to wear it with darker pants since it makes the shoe stand out more so I'd go with solaro.

Thanks! In fact having an unfunded piece of Fox fine grey flannel on hand, but got no time heading to my tailor for a double breast:cloud:

We can only do pre-orders of models we will have in our store. We cannot arrange for a GMTO for any make-up which will not be stocked.

That boot will be a stock model that he is letting us pre-order. That isn't a group MTO. They are no longer allowed.

Correct. Thank you

The MH71 last is more softly chiseled while the TG73 is more distinct and slightly more aggressively chiseled. They fit more or less the less but the TG73 has less room in the toe box. The difference, however, is very small.

Can anyone here compare the finishing of plum museum to #8 burgundy shell? I'm strongly considering a Bonafe MTO in plum, but worried it might be too similar in shade to some shell footwear in my rotation.

Which is of the EB lasts fits closest to Carmina Rain last? I despise my wide feet :(

Thanks.

Thanks.

All Bonafé last has a high instep as the Rain last from Carmina. However, the closest last in shape and fit would be the 946 last from Bonafé.

I have both the 946 and the rain, and I feel that the rain last is a touch higher on the instep, also a bit longer overall in the same sizes. Probably not enough to size up or down though. I notice the difference due to my low arches.
