Wow, things blew up after a couple days not being on...

For the person that asked about the Dover in 82:
EG 005

No fancy watch to show off but I tend to wear my late father's watch. More sentimental value than anything since the last maintenance probably cost more than it's MSRP. Didn't think the guy did it properly though since condensation is happening... censored.gifWarning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I doubt it's Cordovan. Shell Burnhams have seams below the elastic sides because the shells are so small. At least that's the only version of shell Burnhamns we've ever made or seen. More likely a heavily burnished Cedar or Chestnut.

Like so, in Whiskey Shell:

Agreed, although I wonder how the Cordovan rolls would look on these.

I think the Dover looks good on the 82.

Nice watch too. I hope you get the condensation issue sorted out, I certainly would address it as soon as possible by the way.

This is a pre-order for Gaziano & Girling St. James II in Vintage Chestnut. Gaziano & Girling has recently changed their St. James patterns, but this style will be made up using the old St. James II pattern. http://www.skoaktiebolaget.se/products/25-pre-order-deposit-st-james-ii-chestnut

  • Style: Gaziano & Girling St. James II
  • Last: MH71 in E-width
  • Material: Vintage Chestnut (as pictured)
  • Sole: Single Oak Bark leather sole, natural sole edge
  • Price ex VAT: 7040 SEK
  • Price inc VAT: 8800 SEK (for clients within the EU)
  • G&G lasted trees: 1200 SEK / 1500 SEK (ex/inc VAT)
  • Deposit: 25%, final payment before shipping. Shipping will be free of charge if you order the lasted trees to go with the shoes, this puts you over our 8000 SEK limit for free shipping.

If you require a different width than E, please make a note of this in your order comment. Also make a note if you wish to include lasted G&G shoe trees or not (highly recommended). These will be billed on your final invoice.

The deposit 1760 SEK ex VAT is 25% of the full price. The remaining 75% will be billed through before delivery. Delivery is planned for March 2015. The full price is 7040 SEK (8800 SEK ex VAT for clients outside the EU). Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable to other orders.

Pre-order closes December 12. If you add G&G lasted trees, the shipping of 300 SEK will be subtracted from your final payment. Delivery expected late March.

I tried ordering these while on my phone with no luck. I will place my order tonight
