Honestly if you wear simpson comfortably, you shouldn't wear rain.

One is narrow, one is wide.

Wear what fits your foot.

^ Agreed.  After owning both, I find it hard to believe that both lasts can fit the same foot comfortably, even if you do size down.

It's not as simple as that. The general recommendation is to size half a size down, this actually works for a lot of people. But to be clear, we always recommend e-mailing us for personal fitting advice where we can establish the right size correctly, like what we did with my Canadian friend earlier in the thread.

I'm sure it will be fine! If you consulted the forum and/or talked with Leaves, you'll be happy! Post up some pics when you receive them!

That's been largely my experience as well. My first Carmina was a suede captoe Simpson that fit super snug but has broken in really nicely. It now fits beautifully. But my next Simpson was in calf and was pure torture. Had to sell them. Since then, I've stuck with Rain to good success. All my Carminas, including the Simpson, are 7.5 UK by the way. Definitely very different lasts for different feet, but the suede is a little more forgiving if the last isn't perfect. Just my two kroner.

Leaves when is the next preorder for crocolaides???

If there is enough interest we'll start up a restock pre-order for those people where their sizes are out, no problem. We need six people to make that happen though.

I'd be interested if we could get them in the wide version of Rain

I saw a picture on your Instagram of the Manolo Adelaide with a matching belt, and I need that belt. Any plans on stocking it?

Will you offer wide fitting in preorder if you get the required numbers and whats the estimated time?

Anyone interested in a GMTO from Enzo Bonafe?

Deerskin upper (or snuff suede?) & Dark oak calf body?

Patrick, can we please have a photo of the double monk. Thanks.

This is a picture of our own Bonafè Double Monk before being welted. It's hopefully being shipped to us within a week.
