(My left foot is OK but my slightly larger right foot is at about max capacity by the pinky toe.) I'm including the C&J's as I'm assuming it's the closest shoe I have last wise in relation to the Simpson. So, the question begs, will a 9 UK Simpson work for me or would I need to size up to a 9.5?

Yes, size up to UK9.5.

Generally I would recommend UK 9.5 but please e-mail us for specific fitting advice. sales@skoab.se

I would definitely prefer to have the option of standard airmail, as with couriers, there will always be customs charges.

Absolutely, it's still the default method of shipping in North America, Australia and basically all markets except Hong Kong and the EU (both exempted from customs).

I really love the way the museum calf oxfords on the inca last look, but am concerned about size.  The only thing I can reference is that I wear a 9.5E in allen edmonds. Unfortunately I haven't tried on other brands to compare to.  Thoughts on whether this last would work for me?

What last in AE? There is a internet "tale" about Inca being a wide last. I just do not see it that way. I have Rain and Inca and I do not see Inca being wider than Rain at all. In fact I found Rain wider than Inca.
If you go to Carmina website and check out models you will notice that Carmina has last specific widths. For example all Rain lasted shoes are denoted width EE width, all Simpsons models are denoted with E.
Soller lasts is EE
Forest last is EE
Alcudia last is E
Deia last is E
Detroit EE
INca last is E
Queens last is E
Oscar last is E
Phila last is E
Robert last is E

Those models that are denoted with EE are wider than those with E.
I would strongly discourage you from buying any of models listed with E width unless you can try them in person.

5 last in AE.

Based on what you're saying does Carmina denote E as standard width instead of D?

That is what it seems like. E is the standard width while EE is wider.

Words of wisdom, I rolled correctly twice, but not the third time!

Thick socks for me...

Would anyone here be interested in a GMTO of a G&G Oakham in dark navy?  MH71 is what I'm thinking for a last...
