I already own Burnham and all I can say is it's wonderful boot. It is hard to believe how light that boot is. It's like a Mithril http://lotr.wikia.com/wiki/Mithril

I'm surprised that it's more expensive than the Thorpe with it's apron stitching. Is it due to the fact that it's a wholecut with one seam? And where is the seam located?

It is a wholecut and the seam is in the back.

This is the general recommendation but please e-mail for specific fitting questions: sales@skoab.se

Is Soller last generous in all proportions or just width? My 7.5UK Rain and Robert last shoes are a tad loose with thin dress socks (particularly my left foot), so I'm thinking of sizing down a full size to 6.5UK in Soller.

They were delayed due to some problems with one of their suppliers.

The Soller last is slightly elongated as well as wide in the forefoot. For specific fitting advice, please e-mail us att sales@skoaktiebolaget.se

Now that I've diacovered the wonders of Carmina cordovan, I require more. Anything coming? Or did the shortage torpedo everything?

Enzo Bonafe wholecut suede on the 946 last. MTO through Skoaktiebolaget - Love them!

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

That is beautiful. Never would have considered a wholecut in suede. Color does it for me and interestingly the medallion is a nice touch. Hardly noticeable from afar but a nice addition close up. Wholecut and laces make it quite a unique MTO.

I like Suede Chukkas on the Skoak site as well.

Frank is incoming within a few weeks in Burgundy Shell. Frank as in Frankenstitch. Please email us to be on the waiting list, we expect this to sell out really quickly.

There is still a shortage in Shell due to lack of horsehides in the US. Horween is looking to source hides from Europe now to get around this shortage, or so I have heard anyway (unconfirmed). We can do single Shell MTOs but RTW lines will probably not be available until maybe mid or late 2015.

Hmm, details? Don't remember the last, sole, etc from the last run. Any large (i.e. 11.5UK) sizes?
