Bonafé shealing lined chukka MTO

Hi guys.

I did a interest check for a Bonafé shearling lined chukka boot two weeks ago want to follow that up with the complete MTO idea. The lining will be in the whole shoe except the insole. Sole will be a double dainite with storm welt, think it´s the only option with a winter boot like this. Delivery time is 10-12 weeks.

The guys from Skoaktiebolaget will comment on the exact price, shipping cost, VAT deduction and sizing. Please don´t ask me.

To give you an idea how i want the boot to look here´s two pics of a JL chukka:

The color i want is Jasper (second from right):

You will have the option to have your personal message on the insole (included in price):

If you´re interested, PM me.

Cheers[/quote

Did this Bonafe MTO ever get off the ground? I'm just curious if the participants have received their boots and what their experience with the fur lining was. Is it warm? Durability? Would they recommend it? Any negatives to having fur lined boots?

You guys are killing me. Awaits both the fur linned boot and the burgundy cordovan boot, yesterday I booked a pair of your green double monk (my forst monks) and now this? My girlfriend will kill me, but what a heck. This must me the most beautiful boot i ever seen, so if I have to choose between girlfriend and this boot my girlfriend wont make me choose, since she may know the answer.

Looks good. So, any interest for this on dark grey suede? If you are keen, then we just need to find 1 more guy.

Sure, same makeup as the one above (i.e. same last, single beveled waist, etc)? If so, I'm in. Need a pair of double monks.

Awesome! Just out of curiosity - why didn't you go for a single dainite sole or any other kind of light rubber sole? Boots with single leather soles (even B1s) seem so selfcontradictory to me...
I have to agree but may get this anyway. Though the soles are 1.5...

For a conservative, dressy model like this a leather sole is the only option IMO. A 1.5 sole will perform great even in rainy weather. I was wearing a B1 (1.5 leather) sole the other day and it was very slushy here in Stockholm. No problem. I mean, I wasn't stomping around in puddles or anything, but still. Shannon is a dressy boot, it'll be a very good all year around model except for maybe those worst winter months.
