Is there any plans on stocking G&G black oxfords? alternatively would it count as a MTO if one wanted to purchase a pair of black oxfords or is that something G&G stocks and you can just order from them when you order something else?

Yes, we can order this from G&G central stock (only in E-width, sizes UK 6-12) but we have no plans to stock them in our own store at the moment. Central stock pulls takes about 1 week.

Is there a list with stock models or is it all shoes and boots on their website?

Regarding your EG stock. What models counts as stock? Is for example Chelsea in dark oak last 82 stock and could be ordered without mto fee but if you want it on last 202 it counts as a mto?

Thanks

All the shoes in the G&G online store is considered to be stock models.

As for EG,all shoes we have stocked are considered to be Skoaktiebolaget stock models. There's also an extensive stock list from EG that we can pull single orders from. Please e-mail us if you want the latest stock list. It contains mostly classic models like Chelsea, Berkeley, Inverness, Asquith, Belgravia, Cadogan and Picadilly in black calf and brown calf, and in different widths, but also some other stuff.

I would go for a UK 9 in Deia. You want this boot to fit snug because there's no lacing keeping the foot in place.

Thanks for the advice.

Sadly 9 looks sold out, wasnt meant to be I guess...

Carmina and Bonafe does not actually use shearling, they use fur.

Edward Green Galway is always just lined in the vamp (the area covering the foot) and not the shaft. The only part of the shaft that is lined is a small strip on the top of the shaft.

Thanks for the reply Leaves. I was only enquiring as I had thought I read somewhere that Edward Green only lined the shaft of the boot in shearling and the only pictures I can find shows the shaft fully lined. Google search here. Having the shearling in the vamp is much more useful than in the shaft in my opinion.

What kind of fur does Carmina and Bonafe use?

Might be keen if it is in the classic round last.

Barky, I think chiseled last suits this design best. For me, will look weird in the round last. This is Aubercy RTW actually made by EB

Definitely. I think that it would look too "blobby" on a round-toed last. I've got a similar pair of Berlutis with a chiselled toe, and the EG Oundle, which is very similar, is typically made on the 888 last, with a chiselled toe.
