Carmina only stock one type of Hatch Grain to my knowledge. Factory is closed until Jan 7, then they're off to Pitti and away until something like Jan 12 so all queries will take very long to answer this time of year.

We're off now for a little Christmas break, traditionally we celebrate Christmas 24-26 December in Sweden so the shop is closed.

I wish all our clients a very Merry Christmas!

Guys,

I can confirm that is the same hatch leather AS and Carmina use. It is called sienna hatch grain and I would be very careful with that leather. I already returned a pair of AS boots because the finish is peeling off. I have oxblood hatch grain and the darker colors seem to hold the finish better than lighter leather.

By the way I am interested in chukka on rain last but it would have to be on tan grain like these boots

I would also go for tan grain or any darker grain that is not hatch grain.

Epaulet did a mto with this hatch grain from carmina i think.

Im also all for a regular grain calf medium/dark. But not tan. Antique brown calf is nice...

Yeah, but invoice was promised this week, not next year, and from the skoak, not from the factory.

From the pictures the hatchgrain looks abit ti bright for my taste. I would prefer a darker colour regardles of the "grain type".

Have to check up on that, I though our store manager had sent these out but there must have been some kind of misunderstanding. We're closed for a few days but I'll make sure these will be sent out ASAP after the Christmas break.

My first pair of Carminas, first pair of Cordovan Shell, and first pair of Balmoral Boots. Win x 3. They feel like they could withinstand a meteor attack from space ha. Also the color is darker in person than it appears on the Skoat website which I am thankful for although I would have been thrilled either way. Customer service was awesome and I'm certain my next purchase will again be from Skoat. Those...those Carmina Tan Double Monks in the simpson last are calling me name. P.S. I'm a photographer hence the watermark.

Color comparison: Cognac Shell, Allen Edmonds Strand in Walnut, and Paul Evans "The Brando" in Oxblood.
