I am interested as well, and am not in a hurry either. I probably wouldn't be able to get on board right now but June/July would look much better.

Btw, some of the scariest words your wife can say: "You aren't expecting any more shoes, right? You have to admit, objectively, that you have enough shoes now."

"OBJECTIVELY speaking, yes.

"

Unfortunately, my other half has already clocked that I ain't objective when it comes to shoes. (And that's why I have a storage pedestal at work ...)

I love it!!!!!

I think that now is the point when we all are starting to realize that we need to slow it down a bit. The family is starting to notice. haha.

The trick is to never admit nor deny.

I've seriously given thought to purchasing another house just so my shoe purchases can be diverted to another address. LOL

When thinking about our conversation here, this made me laugh harder than I have in quite some time. I bet that many of us have thought of that and never had the guts to say it!!!!!!

This has the makings of a new SF thread. Am I late to that party?

that would be a great thread. How to fool your spouse/family when you have an addiction to buying shoes.

1. Buy another house to ship them there.
2. If you can't afford an extra house, then ship to work and wear them there until they are worked in enough that the family won't notice.
3. Buy your spouse something like flowers, chocolate, etc. every time that you get a pair of shoes so she forgets or doesn't notice what you received.

From what I have been hearing people like St. C just as much as EG.

This is my work-a-round: Ship them to the office. Then wear the shoes she knows about to the office and change into the "secret shoes" when you get there. Slowly break them in until they aren't new anymore, then wear them home. Clearly, I've thought about this before....
Hahahaha I've been doing this.

Or just say they are on sale! Then they will think it's worth it
