I'm UK 9.5 for oxfords in Carmina rain and Enzo 804.. The gents at skoab advised me to go 9.5 for the preorder chukkas (74945 last) and 9 for the preorder split toe derbies (946 last). That sound about right? Anyone else able to chime in?

The 804 last has a similar high instep as the 946 but is more elongated. The general recommendation is to keep the same size as your Carmina Rain shoes for the 946 last, but also slightly depend on how they fit you. Please e-mail us for any further questions or thoughts.

I know we don't have 4 (I think only 3 have expressed interest), but is there any chance of the EB longwing in Tarnsjo Oak? I'm considering the Chukka, but I'm not sure I want to do both right now.

Thanks,
Steve

Would be in, at the expense of my participation in the chukka, if we can get this organized before the 14th.

Taking 9.5 in the 74945 is correct.
The 946 last isn't a very long last but like most bonafe lasts, has a relatively generous instep. I tried sizing down a half size but found it a touch short and got a little pinching at the toes. If you don't have an overtly low instep I suggest you don't size down either.

These beauties came in today!

Pretty pleased with the results, only slight issue is that the left shoe's welt/sole is not cut as close to the upper as the right shoe around the toe and forefoot, but not a big deal to me as one would be pretty hard pressed to notice it. Other than that, I'm absolutely in love with them!

I think this same model in something like snuff suede would be amazing.

Amazing! Can you comment on the color in regards to the shade and hue of brown IRL?

I'd say the shade above is pretty true to life when the shoes are viewed indoor with some natural light coming through the windows, probably closer to dark then mid brown. Initially they turned out to be darker than I had imagined, but I prefer. That's comparing it to the image on skoak's site with all the swatches. Outside during the day they seem to be a complete shade lighter and definitely a mid-brown. As expected this shade should be very versatile and appropriate for many occasions, at least in my case.

Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of other mid-brown shoes to compare these to. I've only taken a few photos indoor so far, will plan to snap some natural lit outdoor shots and post those as well.

Got my Carmina Chelseas today... my 2 year search for a well-fitting mid-brown chelsea with a rubber sole is over.

Luckily I didnt get dinged with duties or taxes, and its always a gamble ordering a last you've never had the chance to try on from overseas - but the Rain last felt like it was made just for my foot. Perfect fit both lengthwise and widthwise. Chelseas are very sleek and the leather has a depth and variation of color that is very impressive. Now I understand the price premium vs allen edmonds or alden. Noticeable softer and higher quality leather and finishing. Wont be my last pair of Carminas.

I am very keen in hopping on the GMTO for the Enzo Bonafè 3403MOD Chukka boot in Oak Tärnsjö too. A Re-run finally..

Need some sizing advise..

I have a rather wide feet. I take uk 7.5 on the Carmina Detriot last (suede chukkas), size 41.5 on Vass F last (captoe oxfords), as well as uk 8, on EG's 606 last (Dover).

What is the recommended size I should take for the 74945 last? Can't decide between uk 7.5 or uk 8.

I would suggest you take size 8, I had the same problems with 74945 last, I had to size a half a size up.
