Will skoak start carrying EG again?

Almost assuredly no.

^^^ That would be my guess.

I'm obviously not Skoak, but I personally very much doubt it. Should timely delivery, reliability, and spotty QC become a thing of the past, all tied with a big red bow, then maybe.

that's what I was wondering. EG used to be great with timely delivery, great QC, quite reliable. Surprised they had such a turn.

For me, I have yet to have a problem aside from the delivery which I do not sweat so much anymore. Par for the course.

I am not Skoak. But this is their thread. And they do not carry EG. So perhaps this isn't the ideal place to discuss the merits of the brand.

Derby shoes (model 3635), I believe colour/material in the first picture is Betis Castagna.
If colour is too boring and people want to change up, I am interested to try lama sahara (on the right):

I am not a big fan of 946 last (as per the 1st picture), am thinking of going for 74945 last instead.
I would like norvegese chain-welted, natural rope laces with leather ends, millerighe (see picture below) or double leather sole.
A red or green lining should be interesting.

Any interest?

I could get down with these. Do you want the norvegese all round or 270° like the model above?

I disagree. The respective merits of the brand contributed to them no longer being carried, and ameliorating those flaws could prompt Skoak carrying them again. Fair game in my opinion.

I would consider picking them up again if a number of things would improve at EG. 'Nough said. smile.gif

Agreed. I don't think anybody faults Skoak for the change (I certainly don't), but I don't think the slightest of tangents regarding EG is anything to get huffy about.

So who got "huffy" exactly? I said it might not be the ideal place for a discussion of the merits of the brand in an affiliate thread where that brand isn't carried. This is "huffy" in your universe?
