Well, actually, the good thing is that you don't need a GMTO for those.

It's available under the patina service that SkoaB offers. A few models are available in a good number of patina choices for a very nominal upcharge.

Heck of a shine on the jodhpurs by the way @andrel42

Not sure yet.  While I think the angular plain-toe model (the one that seems to be one of Bonafe's classic designs) is sexy, I'm thinking a more traditional cap-toe is the way to go.  Not sure which Bonafe model that is yet.

Ah .... ok.

We're headed in slightly different directions then. But good luck with your GMTO plan!

When will the sold out braces be re-stocked?

I do wear a good amount of earth tones like various browns and greens, so I plan on wearing it with those. In the Autumn I also like to pair olive green with some burnt orange to "spice' things up a bit.

I may try it out with some different grey tones to experiment, but I'll mainly stick with the browns, greens, and orange.

thank you so much. It was a risk going for it, but St. C did an amazing job at getting the coloring that I wanted so the sole would pair amazingly with it.

yea it is tough, especially depending on which kind of green you have, but since these are more olive in color, but have a darker toe, what I said above is what I'm doing unless others have some other suggestions as well.

Definitely. Especially since a lighter brown will be more casual, I'd like to keep it classic for the rest of the shoe.

Thanks! The good/bad news is that I'm a wide and would need to do a single MTO anyway. I'm just interested in getting others' take on the makeup, especially the suitability of the two leathers (Oak Tarnsjo vs. Betis Castagna) for a semi formal shoe. Perhaps @Leaves will chime in since he has the original Oak Tarnsjo makeup.

You know, if you're not too keen on a plain toe derby, EB has this apron derby design that I think looks really good (though certainly not for everyone) and totally sportcoat-able.

The elastic braces will hopefully be available in navy and burgundy again in late April or early May.
