@Leaves Woo hoo! Carlos Santos Norte patinaed Jodhpurs came in this morning; I am speechless! Wonderful workmanship and a lovely pair of boots! Thank you!
PS. Sorry for the office pics
Woah, was there a GMTO for these or something?
Well, actually, the good thing is that you don't need a GMTO for those.
It's available under the patina service that SkoaB offers. A few models are available in a good number of patina choices for a very nominal upcharge.
Heck of a shine on the jodhpurs by the way @andrel42
Ah .... ok.
We're headed in slightly different directions then. But good luck with your GMTO plan!
I do wear a good amount of earth tones like various browns and greens, so I plan on wearing it with those. In the Autumn I also like to pair olive green with some burnt orange to "spice' things up a bit.
I may try it out with some different grey tones to experiment, but I'll mainly stick with the browns, greens, and orange.
thank you so much. It was a risk going for it, but St. C did an amazing job at getting the coloring that I wanted so the sole would pair amazingly with it.
Sorry, that was a question originally intended for @mw313 and his green StC.
yea it is tough, especially depending on which kind of green you have, but since these are more olive in color, but have a darker toe, what I said above is what I'm doing unless others have some other suggestions as well.
You know, if you're not too keen on a plain toe derby, EB has this apron derby design that I think looks really good (though certainly not for everyone) and totally sportcoat-able.
These and many other nice make-ups from Carlos Santos are available through their Patina Service program. Please follow this link for more information:
The elastic braces will hopefully be available in navy and burgundy again in late April or early May.
