Unfortunately, they do not fit me. Compared to Carmina, they do have a larger opening and less curvature at the heel, which gives me heel slip even with an insole (which I would not be able to fit into Rain). Even with the insole, the lacing is fully closed and I am not able to create tension. For comparison you can see them here (size 8.5) compared to Rain 8.5 on the left (burgundy museum) and Simpson 9.0 (dark brown) on the right.

Sizing down might be an option, as the leather is soft, but it could get too narrow in the forefoot. The CS definitely has more volume vertically than Rain.

I cannot return them, so make me an offer for these mint shoes out of the box.

Damn, what a shame, I'm sorry to hear that.
The Coimbra patina looks amazing.

Hi guys, we have a straggler from Carlos Santos that we just published on our website. A great all-around Chukka with a Dainite sole.

I guess I will know in a few days but it does not hurt to ask. How this tobacco suede compares to carmina tobacco suede.

It's less yellow, more light brownish

Kind regards,

Dear Oliver,

Thank you very much for your answer; so you match the back elastic with the leather joints which I find it correct.

In your site you mention that the braces are one size; this practically means that at different gentlemen heights, the brass/nickel clasp when stretched will end at different torso heights. Do you happen to know, at 1.79m height with regular torso and normal trousers' rise, where will the clasps terminate? If someone of you is of approximately this height, his trial will tremendously help!

Best,

Dimitris

So they were my boots and arrived a day early and very nice. Good value and great service as always. I was torn between the Sinatra (dark green) and this colour, florest. . Made a good decision as they are greener than the autum yellow you see in some photos. . Good boots.

Size wise, seems a bit tight on the width but length fine but will take some breaking in. I've put EG and CJ wooden trees in to see if there is any differences in sizing but the same and a very tight fit.

I normally only have CJ and EG boots so interesting and good value. Maybe could have gone to 10.5 UK rather than my normal 10 in EG and CJ although with CJ can go down to 9.5 UK. No regrets and I'm sure in time a good fit. Cheers to all at Skoaktiebolaget.

Those things look really long compared to rain and simpson.  Almost looks like you would need to size down a half size from rain to get the length right....

Sorry, don't know about Rain or Simpson? Live in the UK. Lots of boots, but as stated only EG and CJ which are good. If I went down another size they would not fit and as new tight across the foot ,and fit good on length?
