I'd say Wine Shadow, but that's lighter than what I would call Oxblood. In my world Oxblood is more like Col. 8 Cordovan.

What a nice response to a customer request. Things like this make SkoAB a special kind of store.

Is the Tärnsjö leather make ups from Carmina exclusive to Skoaktie only?

I've never asked for exclusivity. It's one one many materials we have asked Carmina to introduce for us, just like Museum Calf, Tobacco Suede, Polo Suede and buffalo. But so far no other retailers have picked up Tärnsjö or buffalo (this was actually a limited material that is now unavailable).

Do you see the inclusion of some of the tannery's other colors going forward?

Yes, we are doing some samples in Oak Tärnsjö and Burgundy Tärnsjö with Bonafè that will be ready around summer.

Fingers crossed that one will be a NST or austerity boot, derby, or oxford--with blind eyelets and a rubber sole.

The prototypes will all be made up as Jumper Boots (Oak, Cognac and Burgund Tärnsjö - 9'pairs in total).

Very excited for this! The Tärnsjö leather is very cool and can't wait for it to used by Bonafè (selfishly, because they fit me best).

While I know you're just launching the Carlos Santos line and service and it's early to take requests, put me down for someone who'd very much like to see the patina service for the more staple shoes models - the dress show (currently in cognac and black) and/or the wingtip derby. While I suspect those are more complicated than the models offered, I think the dress shoe in Noir Shadow (which looks like a dark gray/charcoal/anthracite) would make a great alternative to the standard black.

Cool. I'm interested but no need to rush/hurry.
