Skoaktiebolaget - Carmina, Bonafè, Carlos Santos, Saint Crispin's, Gaziano & Girling - Official Affiliate Thread - Page 1388

I think the last two statements were a tad unnecessary.

Also, apart from pricing and the alleged lack of speed in communication, @ecwy  is very right to point out that this is a Carmina and not a Skoak policy, @markeronee

Not taking any sides but we should be clear this is a Carmina and not Skoak policy. Gabriel didn't say anything false in general imo but did you ask him specifically about Singapore?

By the way, shouldn't the price include free shoe trees?

In fact just yesterday I inquire about the prices of carmine and whether there is changes. However this was their reply

"No, we have not raised our Carmina prices since the fall season but please also note that the currency converter is only to give a guidance on the price for different currencies. We always trade in Swedish Krona, SEK, and our own currency can be quite strong at the moment.

Kind regards,

Gabriel Öberg Bustad, Store Manager"

And for them to tell me today that there is a price hike just when i want to purchase it, Im quite disappointed overall with the speed at which such important information was provided.

I can understand any frustration, but if you have any concerns you have to direct them at Carmina or in the Carmina thread. We're just following their recommendations here.

@markeronee There was no confusion in pricing, the base price is 3700 SEK for standard styles, shipped and taxed to Singapore, it was just bad luck that you picked a style where the pricing was not fixed correctly. Call it a bug.

@ThunderMarch The new "Singapore Carmina price" is applied upon check out actually, we're working on that so that it'll be more transparent for clients but my programmer did not have time today to fix it.

Patrik,

That EB split toe is fantabulous. Any chance you might be stocking that model in the future? Like in suede? I've been wanting a split toe in suede and that Vibram topy sole for a while.

Keep up the great work!

Thanks! Yes we have a suede version incoming later this spring!

My wife thinks split toes are ugly, I think they are one of the best things on soles, and quite versatile

New from Skoak; EG, 606, dark oak

Migrating to StC split toes now

Will it be on the 363MOD last still or is there any chance it would be 74945?

Patrik's most recent post is ample and fair warning enough.
Moreover, Gabriel's statement did not imply that there would be no price hike. It merely stated that prices have not been raised since the fall season.
Grow a pair dude. Or improve your reading comprehension, or preferably both.

The insult was unnecessary dude; act like an adult

Come on guys, calm down.

You can blame Carmina, or you can blame yourselves.

Demand is not created in a vacuum. The more you order, the more they'll raise their prices.

And if you are truly angry about Carmina's price hike, then contact them directly! If enough people voice their displeasure (and hold off on orders), then it might give them pause before future price adjustments.

I've read a lot of comments that complain about the price adjustments, but nobody actually does anything about it.

I agree. My apologies for voicing out my frustration in an unhealthy manner.

The Isham has always been one of my favourite split toe designs (the other being jm westom hunt derby) but i could never get it due to fat feet. Fortunately managed to get in on the last GMTO that allowed mixed widths. Thanks for making it happen!

@ecwy Those are awesome! Love both choices!
