Even for Ilcea, mine seem to have more of a reddish undertone than is the norm.
there was a post on here sometime back with someone representing the return of Ilcea, but there were no responses to it and I saw no other comments supporting it. So I'm a little hesitant to believe it, but we shell see. I think it would be great if true, since I think they have a better product and they seemed to be more consistent. These new museum calf iterations are an unknown commodity until we see some more examples.

Hello.  I am new to this thread and interested in Bonafe wholecut.  Can somebody give me an input about the fit and size?

I wear 5.5E for GG and EG.

Which colour in the Bonafe Wholecut, black or burgundy?

Which last are you in GG & EG? For your reference, I wear UK9F in G&G MH71, UK9E in EG 202, 82 & 888. I choose UK9 as my size in this wholecut GMTO.

Give us some extra info, and I believe everyone is happy to help, at least @Leaves does

Hello, I'm the person that some weeks ago wrote the post about the restarting of Ilcea tannery (http://www.styleforum.net/t/381403/ilcea-tannery-restart).

I'm speaking for the ownership of Gruppo Vecchia Toscana S.p.A., the company that has taken the management of Ilcea tannery in Turin since january 2014. All the previous article are now available, including Radica. Last week we attended the "Lineapelle" fair in Bologna showing the entire collection.

I hope that old customers that still have not returned to buy from Ilcea, come back to do it soon. I understand that the old management create some problems to these customers because they stopped production without respect the orders, but the new property is totally unrelated to the financial problems of old Ilcea property.

This is the website of Gruppo Vecchia Toscana: http://www.gruppovecchiatoscana.com/index.php?c=3

Instead this is the new website of Ilcea (is under construction, soon you will be able to see the collection): http://www.ilceaconceria.it/

Finally this is an article from the swedish blog Shoegazing (the blogger is a user of Styleforum): http://www.shoegazing.se/2014/02/23/nyhet-garveriet-ilcea-raddat/

For any doubt or question contact me in private message, I'll give you all the answer.

Hi. Thanks for your feedback. I am interested in black at this moment.  I have 5.5E for MH71 and TG73, I cannot take D on those GGs due to my high instep.  I have various size for EG.  888 5.5D is the smallest. 82 needs to be 5.5E due to curvature of toe shape.

When I tried Carmina Simpson last instep was narrow and lacing part is too wide open.

I have a wide feet so I take the same size as my G&G & EG

It seems that you get a narrow feet, since the last in Bonafe is heard to be generous, sizing 0.5 down may work for you. However, I suggest you to PM @Leaves to seek for size guide.

Thanks for taking the time to post. It will be interesting to see how everything develops. There is no doubt that at one point in time some excellent product came out of that factory. Best of luck

May I ask if you are an Ilcea representative? Massimo visited the Ilcea stand during Linneapelle on our request, I hope their production tests will be successful.

I'm not a sale agent of Ilcea. I'm a member of the new ownership of Ilcea.

I wrote to you in private messagge

Do you have any plans to restock the Carmina Black calf Wingtip? I am looking for 7.5UK. Going to order the Brown Chromexcel Wingtip Boot right now.

Would be much appreciated if you took pictures of the radica offerings so SF members could request it for MTOs. Would help to create some pull for you.

Leaves, do you have any plans for a Edward Green Dover or Gaziano & Girling Hove in the near future? Something in dark brown?
