I must have misinterpreted something in the email:

The price range starts at €310 / $325 USD and the Patina Service is €40 / $50 extra. We feel this price/quality ratio is hard to compete with. The US price includes shipping, customs and handling fees.

The US site and price is exclusively for US clients, sorry if I was unclear.

i always make the assumption that I'll have to pay 33% in duties on top of any purchase made. In the past, I would frequently get away with not paying an duties if I select postal shipping, but recently I seem to be getting hit with the full taxes. I did manage to get away with only paying GST/PST on a pair of Galways I ordered a while back from Skoak. I talked to my mailman about it and he said 9/10 package from Europe get hit with customs but stuff from the US seems to slip my more frequently.

Here are a few more pics of the chukka, IMHO it's a great one, the suede balances out the hard chiseled toe box and makes it a bit more sleek.

Hope this helps!

Kind regards,

Hard to find StC on sale in your size. I would take the StC especially because of the lasted shoe trees.

St James for sure, what Skoak has there is probably the most iconic model of GG, especially on the MH71 last

As always, Skoak is my first choice and def giving the DM some serious consideration.

I guess $510CAD might be pretty good compared to what it might have cost for Carmina, and compared to G&G, EG, etc., but I can't imagine it'll sway many of the AE crowd's purchasing decisions. At least not mine. And that's okay.
