Skoaktiebolaget - Carmina, EG, GG, Bonafe, Saint Crispin's - Official Affilia...

Hi gents,

Just wanted to share this picture that Gabriel emailed over showing the results of the EB captoe jumper boots in Mahogany shell. It's a poor attempt at screenshotting the original pic on my phone but their beauty emanates through nonetheless.

Cheers.

wonder if zonkey boot is the new brand. would make sense as it is related to StC, and is at a cheaper price point than EG/GG/StC, would fit in between Enzo and the 3 mentioned earlier.

I doubt so. It doesn't look like there is any fudging so I will guess GYW or Blake Rapid maker.

Corthay is too aggressive. Bestetti would be awesome, Bemer is a good guess, and I know Leaves is a huge fan of Meccariello; one his favorite pairs is by AM. I'd have to dig it up but that shoemaker is a true artist.

My only concern would be production capacity. I think AM would have the smallest volume compared to other makers Skoak carries. But he does have a RTW line he does for the Japanese market.

Oh! A Japanese maker would be a nice change in aesthetic.

And I believe what was said about Bemer is true: I was in Florence recently and recall several Japanese students at the leather school, and Bemer had a showroom there.

*Mahogany shell longwings appear on skoak's website*

*Jaw is on floor*

*Grabs wallet*

*Finds out that ONLY MY SIZE has already been sold out*

*Facepalm*
