Question - is there more than one model of Bonafe Chukka - independent of last choice?  I seem to recall some in the past that had the facings closer together like this (different last, I know, but the overall design seems different to me):

That particular model is called 3722: http://www.enzobonafe.com/english/norvegese-workmanship.html

Thunder id be in for a side lace. Prefer a smooth leather though. Maybe a suede upper or something? Open to suggestions but definitely interested.

It seems to me that the reason these look so good is because the kink between the instep and the upper forefoot is very sharp, approaching what you see from StC and Bestetti, for example. This attribute seems to vary greatly even on the same last across different Bonafe designs.

If anybody know how to control this outcome, I would love their thoughts.

Looks like a professional photo shoot.
Love the bike in the background as well.

Smooth leather sounds great. What color would you be interested in?
We already have a third.

Open to pretty much anything. What do you have in mind? And are those lasts soft chiseled lasts or what? My EB knowledge is lacking. The last in the pic looks pretty solid.

Ttown, what is the blue-white thing? Is it a shirt?
