I think a rubber sole. Dainite for example would go well with scotch grain..

Awesome! So far I gave 3 total for people interested, myself included. Hopefully we can find 3 more!

Do you have any sole preference?

Guys - leaning towards kopping these. What are your thoughts? Too dressy to be casually worn, and to casual to be worn with suits/formally?

Appreciate your opinions as always. Gonna crosspost in some of the other boot/carmina threads for opinions..

Yea I think dainite would go well, I don't know too much about the victory sole that comes standard but I'd be willing to try that out as I've had plenty of dainite before and sometimes those lugs can bother my foot.

Got another potentially interested person, so only two more to go.

We should try and get these before the price hikes from skoak, but I'm not exactly sure when those are.

Too casual to be worn formally.
Not too dressy to be worn casually.

Agreed. I cant ever find the damn thing either. I tried to have them walk me through a permanent setting for it and they say it is there, but I cant ever get it to work. In any event, I just stopped using paypal. I have a no foreign transaction fee credit card and I use that one.

They have been tempting the heck out of me. This exact boot in shell I could not possibly resist. It's hard enough to resist in calf.

Too casual for suits but just fine otherwise.

Out of pure curiosity, has anyone jumped on the Edward Green Kentmere boot pre-order? Thoughts on the topic, as the deadline to order approaches. Just a friendly and enabling reminder. Cheers.

So did you pull the trigger on the black shell Frankenstitch, Roger?
I couldn't resist.

^^^ Bucking the trend of their huuuuuuge popularity, I'm not a big fan of Franken-stitches - just personal preference. With shell, I like things as smooth as possible. Of course there is every possibility that I will be kicking myself when I see the final actual boot.

Good to see it's not just me who has the craving for Frankenstitch boots (or Jumpers in general...)
