Gents,
I am wondering if this makeup might interest anyone?

It's basically an EB chelsea boot, but in black, leather sole. Open to last suggestions. Realise a black chelsea boot is pretty classic.

I'm in, if you are Ok with millerighe soles. I find that boots with leather soles don't get worn much in my rotation.

Edit: by black you mean black calf right? Also I recommend 74945?

Hey, 74945 sounds good.

Though millerighe wasn't quite what I had in mind. It does look fairly .... substantial.

If you want rubber, how about single dainite or that Tomir-like sole the EB is supposed to have?

Oh and yes, I meant black calf.

I read from a post here that millerighe is actually very sleek and very comfortable too I wonder if I can find that post again. Or maybe owners of shoes with millerighe soles can chime in?

If it's a deal breaker I'm OK with I'm ok with the Tomir-esque sole or Dainite. Anyway it will be with black edge dressing so it doesn't really matter. Just looking for something comfortable and can be used for wet/snowy surfaces.

Millerighe is very comfortable and sleeker than Dainite in my opinion.

Millerighe. What do you think?

@ThunderMarch @watchidiot

I think Millerighe is sleeker if not similar than Dainite.

Dainite

Millerighe

I must me massively misremembering the Millerighe photos I have seen, because I recall something that looks at LEAST as thick as a full double leather sole and definitely thicker than single Dainite.

Tbh, i do prefer something like Tomir in that case.

Let's see if we can find a third guy first.

If memory serves me right, I think EB rubber soles are always "double" as they adhere the rubber sole to a leather layer... but I could be mistaken.

No problem. Let's see what the 3rd guy thinks. I just wanted to check out millerighe and since its only available in black I think a black boot would be the best opportunity to go for it.

There are no really thin rubber soles from Enzo Bonafé as of yet, we'll see how the Vibram topy type sole will look on Enzo Bonafé when they arrive in 2016. They should have the slimmest look possible - it will be a single leather sole and then the topy which is about 1.5 mm if I recall correctly.

Cool.  That certainly sounds like it will be the sleekest synthetic option.
