+1 for this GMTO

I'm OK with January if some members want to wait.

I hope RogerP gets a kickback from Skoak and EB... his photos of that gorgeous shoe has probably sold 12+ pairs.

I would love to join but unfortunately the funds are a bit dry right now. But I eventually will end up with that same shoe in brown and probably black and maybe something else. It's the perfect captoe.

And to the GMTO organizers, i would strongly recommend you create a thread in the Preoders/GMTO sub-forum. It seems way easier to organize something in there rather than across a couple of pages in this thread. JMO.

Very tempted on the EB Oxford. Am I right that the major difference between the 804 last and the last currently on Skoak is that the 804 is less chiseled and perhaps more elongated? Maybe more pointy is a better description?

Please add me to the list for this shoe as well. I prefer a January start date.

Here is the thread for the 804 black cap toe Oxford.

For anyone interested please post there.

I think that's why the creasing of a poor fitting Bonafe can look so bad. The 804 shape and instep works very well for me though. And even next to the 82 and MH71, it really is a great design. You also get the hand welting some of the others don't offer.  Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Very generous. I take it this is actually the 804 last?

I have a high instep as well, so relatively hopeful on this.

Also, left most on the top picture, Besetti?

Cheers

Yes, 804 and it is perfect for a high instep. The other is Bestetti, and it also works well with a high instep. 1967 is my favorite last (and value) right now, but you can check that discussion out in that brand's thread.

Fellas, we just got some Edward Green Dover in stock (limited sizes UK 6-8). This batch is lighter than the very dark Dark Oak that we've seen previously).

I would have a hell of a hard time saying no to this one. So bad ass. Might I suggest No. 10 here - Hidro Jasper:
