Just have two general preferences for the make up: (i) upper and shaft be of the same shade (not too much contrast if at all); and (ii) single Dainite (or something similar to Tomir or York).

Hey there, it looks like the trend has swung away from Vitello Bolet.

TtownMD, watchidiot, and myself, will be working on watchidiot's original idea of Vitello Bergeronette / Reh llama shaft (pretty close in shade), and likely the 2102B last. But discussions are thus far, still in it's infancy.

I'm open. Admittedly don't know their lasts well and would be open to recommendations

Ok with upper/shaft combo. Ok too with the last (saw Patrick's IG post). Sole not a deal breaker for me; single Dainite just a preference and would be happy to concede leather sole if that is what the majority would go for.

Hey there, that's great!

The more the merrier.

Seems like you will be the 4th man!

We will keep you updated as the details get finalised. This however, will probably be a December project.

Will you be ok with this?

December is good. The wallet needs to recover from all the GMTOs

I could jump on the chukka.  I've included a photo ( courtesy of Skoak )

Some new Rubinacci scarves are now available - I think we are the only ones that carries these online - six different motifs:

I'm not sure if you guys have heard of him, but the Asian dude f***king looks like Chow Yun Fatt. He's a big time Asian movie icon. Your model just needs a deck of cards to complete the look.

Nice scarves, by the way.

I'll tell him, ha ha. It's my business partner Daniel. Of course we know Yun-Fat, Hidden Dragon was a huge hit over here. I always said he looked like Yun-Fat but he always mumbles something in Mandarin at me when I do, might have been some ancient curse or something, or maybe something about stupid round eyes, dunno. smile.gif

That was funny.

I can't say that I have ever thought of Chow Yun Fat when hanging with Daniel, but I will say that in comparison, Daniel is way cooler!! (not that I have ever hung with Yun Fat, but Daniel is the man!)

Haha, tell you what, if I get to meet him when I come to Sweden some time next September, I will tell him personally, and I'll let you know what he has been saying under his breath at you, all this time.

Well, not to say Daniel is not cool, because if he hangs with a bunch of menswear / men's shoes nerds like you guys, then he definitely is cool in my book..... But, over here in Asia, Chow is THE MAN. Haha.

Rubinacci scarves look gorgeous.

Back to the peccary chukka. I still am holding onto the idea going against Norwegian. If anyone else is interested please let me know. Would love to get the ball rolling on this one

I'm not sure a chukka would hold up well in Peccary. And I don't think Peccary is suitable for Norvegese stitching either, it's too soft. Peccary is usually used for loafers/moccasins and shafts and such.

Yeah I think chukka would look a lot better in llama calf.
