I like the idea of the MH71 Last for these also.

All brass eyelets actually looks good also.

All the other details get a thumbs up from me, where do I sign up?

I'd also much much prefer all brass eyelets (as opposed to speed hooks).  Pretty impartial on the other details, but I feel like not having speed hooks definitely adds an air of refinement.

Speed hooks will certainly make it easier to put them on, however I find this boot in particular looks so much better without them, and I really don't care if they will mostly be covered up. Just so much better without them.

True, but I find that it's maybe a few seconds, if that.  Maybe I'm just used to it because many of my boots are without speed hooks.

Well hopefully the majority will agree with us then.

Having the Arran in Kudu would be a great idea. TBH I would most likely be interested too, if it truly materialises. IIRC, a couple of weeks ago someone posted a pic of his Arran MTOs in ? Tan kudu, and it looked bloody sick.

I'd be in on the kudu Thorpe proposed.

My take on Kudu Thorpe:
All brass eyelets (no speedhooks)
Normal welt (not storm)
Double leather sole (or HAF? Not dainite)
MH71 (but GG06 also ok)

I'd much rather have Dainite.
