Totally. I'd even say denim with a corduroy jacket (forest green or mid to lighter blue) or even a chunky hop sack weave.

Versatile shoes! Love em.

Almond CC is a decent color, and it is probably more versatile than many think.

In my experience and opinion, it benefits greatly from wear, polishing, and patina, which will contribute to a warm glow and relaxed aesthetic. I think the Cardiff in Almond CC is a great makeup the color of which will only improve with age.

Get your cords, moleskin, tweed, denim, wool cheviot, flannel, worsteds, etc. ready. Cheers,

Received word that my first Enzo Bonafe mto is on its way.

I finally had a chance to take some photos of my recent EB MTO's. I only really have my phone to take photos, so my apologies that the pictures are not up to par with some of the others on this thread. I assure you that I am not trolling nor a doctor. I really enjoy these shoes and am very much looking forward to getting to wear them. SkoaB is now running a GMTO of this same style.

I would also like to thank the the guys at SkoaB for being so generous with their time and patience and help facilitating this order. I was nervous about the details and went back and forth on a few items. Gabriel was excellent to work with. In the end, I think it was all worth it:

Very nice. After the GMTO didn't pan out, I went for the same style (3200MOD) in claret museum.

Edit

@loxo, there is some serious 3200MOD love going on right now nod[1].gif

IMO, EB's take on the St James II is much more elegant than the new St James II that G&G developed with the 'bespoke-style' facing.

Everyone should choose what he likes. Beauty (and preference) is in the eye of the beholder.

Some favor Edward Green, others G&G, others still EB, and others prefer a different maker or don't like "Adelaide" style at all. Personally, I think this style is awesome! Each maker executes a version which is good in its own right.

Have been dead busy recently but just managed to find the time to take the necessary pictures as promised.

These are the Carmina Horween "football print" longwings.

These are the Bonafe etrusco balmoral boots. Love these, absolutely.

These are incoming Bonafe MTOs. Bracken MC with light brown peccary facings, 946 last
