I love all of the support that we have for each other in this thread. There are too many threads on SF where people just argue or complain when others are lucky to be able to acquire such amazing shoes. Good job all and I hope we can keep allowing SF to be a welcome place for us shoeaholics

Yeah, I agree that this thread is very civil. The drama that is going on in some threads are sometimes very entertaining but I prefer it to stay out if this thread. smile.gif

I've been able to renegotiate our FedEx shipping rates. We can now offer free shipping for any EU orders over 1500 SEK and any Hong Kong orders over 3000 SEK.

There is a classic Austrian shoe, called 'Archduke Johann' which is half-cut with a seam on the vamp and down the heel.

Here is Scheer's version of that particular design:

The St Crispin version is a whole-cut with a decorative (non-functional) seam on top of the vamp.

Similar look, but different pattern.

Thank you for this info. Very use full info to know I just got that Stcrispin whole cut with seam in middle
& loving them. Also some thing different than my other traditional whole cut that I have.

Good news for kind of poor people like me who can only afford small accessories.

Besides, can I suggest your side to negotiate a MTO arrangement with Hestra glove? Always want to buy a pair of Siena unlined Peccary gloves but nobody carries it.

Always informative. Thanks!

My main point was not the look (not my style but that's why it's fun to surf SF) but the point of having a whole cut with a decorative seam.

The Scheer one seems to be 2 pieces of leather joined together.

Perhaps, I could appreciate it more if it was a seamless heel with a joining seam down the middle.

Cheers!

We can offer Hestra gloves bespoke or MTO but only in Stockholm at this point. Did you check these out, IMO carpincho is even nicer than peccary: http://www.skoaktiebolaget.se/collections/gloves/products/hestra-unlined-glove-cork-carpincho

Just got a very similar bespoke pair made up:

@Leaves - Any word on when the Carmina MTO Rain chocolate suede semi-brogue without a medallion will be in?

Actually, I must say SkoaB's shipping fees are pretty darn competitive to begin with. Sweden and Singapore are a heck of a long distance apart and 200-300 SEK for 2 pairs is a damn good deal if I must say so myself.
