I wear a UK9 in an EG Galway 82 last and UK 8.5 in a Carmina derby boot Soller last.  Both fit well, but if anything I find the Soller a touch wider.  Soller is Carmina's most accommodating boot last, IMO.  I go to a UK 9 for boots in Forest, Oscar, Rain and Robert.  Soller is the only one where I can pull off an 8.5 in a boot.

I'm not sure I understand the reason for your question, though - is it that you find the Soller a bit too small or the 82 a bit too big?

Thanks Roger - I find that the 82 last feels a bit long going one full size down. Which is weird, since I've never heard of anybody going down more then 1 full size for EG.

Some during the spring and some early summer. Please e-mail us for your specific pair.

Yes, only through Jermyn Street.

@Leaves a question regarding MTO from Bonafe.

Would the 15% surcharge be in addition to the base costs of those models listed on the site (roughly 525, 550 for regular boots, and 750 for buttons), or would that surcharge be based upon a different price?

Note: This pertains strictly to calf. I assume that any exotic leathers would factor in a slightly altered surcharge.

Base price for the style plus any surcharges (exotics, modifications, etc.) and then add 15%. I'm gonna post a USD price list for Bonafè next week. Basically, all Bonafè prices will remain the same as the SEK ex VAT prices as Bonafè has a very hands off, free market aprroach to RRP. Good news for non-EU clients in other words.

From their website

"Enzo Bonafé 4 months, extra surcharge for MTO is +15% of base model"

Yes, single MTO. I tried to get traction on a GMTO but didn't have enough people.

The US prices are much better than the international prices as the customs / duties are absorbed. I see a spike in US demand for Enzo.

Patrik,

Any pictures or description of the Vibram rubber sole?

Hey guys,

I dont post much on forum boards (as you can see from my number of posts), but in this case i had to say something.

I just wanted to say how superb the service i had at Skoak was. I dealt with Gabriel mostly over email. He was always very prompt in responding to multiple emails over the course of the day, including over the wkd, and informative.

Then I ordered a pair of StCs RTW (the model 215, cru 603) last thursday 10-8 and received my shoes in Boston on 10-9! I did use the 15 dollar express Fedex upgrade but getting the shoes next day is priceless.

So impressed i was with the quality of the service and the shoes i just bought two more MTOs StCs today, thanks to Gabriel answering questions all wkd long.

Anyways thanks and you will have a good customer with service like that. You need to give Gabriel a raise...

We offer two Vibram options: one is the Vibram Commando and the other one will be the kind of topy style Vibram sole you see on StC. At this point I don't have pictures but we will carry a line of the Vibram topy soled shoes early next year (a dress shoe line).
