Nothing better than sitting down and crossing your legs to show the full boot. People are all like "ohhhh".

Although I agree with Ironist that I love the look of the button, but have to be realistic that most folks will be like WTF! I usually don't care about that, but it is a bit over the top.

I think because of Leffot's Button Boots were Blake Constructed Soles. I just specified it to be safe.

I've got the same issue as you. I'm an 8.5 in barrie. Boots, like you, fit comfortably loose. I could probably do 8 for shoes, i have a 8.5 ptb which i lace up quite tightly but the heel has plenty of space.

I'm also doing a balmoral boot, but in the 773 which i heard is similar to the 946. I'm going with a 8UK and lace them tightly. Better slightly loose than too snug.

I think you can afford to do a 9UK for the boot and a 8.5UK for the blucher. Hope it helps!

Thanks man!

Button boots eh? I asked a friend since I'm out of touch with the mainstream but he found then to be terribly hideous. I thought they looked cool but I think people's normal reactions would be like wtf are you wearing.

Oh and I always thought boots always looked better on their own but once worn, shoes are better since you can see the whole shoe but only a portion of the boot. The lines seem like they were interrupted and the picture is incomplete. Just my 2 cents. Still love and buy a lot of boots.

heresy! burn him! gather all your leftover shoe boxes and wrapping paper, we gonna have us a ole time 14th century burning. call your old catholic and protestant friends!

So when is the lynching?

I mean he's already been found guilty, correct? LOL

In my defense, all boots are shoes but not all shoes are boots. Think about that :D.

you must be a real wham, bam, thank you mam. I always prefer the part left to the imagination and thus the hidden wonders only a good boot can provide...

I worry for you my friend. I think you take the words "boot Appreciation" too literally lol.

All boots are shoes, whoever heard of such junk? LOL

Sounds to me like he's trying to get away with it using the insanity defense.

Laughed so loud I almost woke up my wife. Would not have been easy to explain to her why I was laughing.

I think it's time that you do your research using a more solid reference than an internet site that we all know can't always be trusted.

What ever happened to the good old days?

Have you ever heard of Funk and Wagnalls? LOL
