So I am curious, how did this go today @Leaves?

Was it fairly significant?

I'm pretty sure the Kudu G&G uses is actually from Antelope.

Good choice! Are you still interested in the Walkton if it does get approved too?

If it's going to be in TG73 Last yes now I have two shoes in Mh73 last which I have no experience with but took the same size as my TG73 last I love the sleekness of that last. And in all honesty I was too scared to pass up kudu & Walkton might not even happen

Thanks for the post. are you also open to the TG73 or only MH71. I'm just keeping track of both lasts and widths for each.

Walkton in Rosewood Kudu / Deep Vintage Cherry GMTO

Specs:
Price: ~ 8800 SEK ex-vat or over? (kudu upcharge?)
Model: Walkton
Color: Rosewood Kudu / Deep Vintage Cherry
Last: MH71 or TG73
Sole: Oak Bark Sole
Lining: Rioja or Cherry

Interested parties:
@mw313 - (narrow width) (MH71 or TG73)
@TtownMD - (E width) (prefer TG73 but fine with MH71)
@Steel28
@Ironist
@JubeiSpiegel

@harki (E width) (prefer MH71 but fine with TG73)

@nickrut (E width on MH71)  (F width on TG73)

@bsmw (E width on MH71 (prefers)) (F width on TG73)

@CFML (F width on MH71) + metal toe tips

@easilyamused (E width) (TG73 or MH71)
Anyone still have interest on this one, so we can then have two GMTOs for the Rosewood Kudu?

And just to clarify, the kudu would only be at the quarters (where the cherry is in these pictures above) so the cherry would be at the toe (so the medallion would look okay), the facing, and the heel.

I know what you mean and that is why I'm still on the fence about the Insham. I love the style and color but just am concerned if it will be too close to my Kudu thorpe in the other shade.

Right now we just won't know about the option of the Two-tone Vintage Cherry calf / Rosewood Kudu Walkton until we hear from @Leaves

Does anyone know if Skoak will do a restock soon on Carminas? Seems like the bigger shoe sizes are mostly gone

I'll do my best and reach out to @Leaves to see what he thinks. If there is no chance, then I may just jump on the Isham before it ends too! Hopefully he will be willing to take a small GMTO on it, since we are not doing the full shoe in it.

Wait so did a pair of your shoes on the MH71 come in yet so you could try it out?

No I own three G&G shoes on Tg73 last I have Sinatra coming in on TG73 last & I have st James 2 pearl grey & this kudu shoe on order on mh73 last I have not tried this last. But from doing lot of research & talking with soak & other sale ppl they all said stuck to same size & I have average feet & so took normal E width. It's very calculated gamble & it has been paying off.

As the founder, creator, and reigning boot guru of the boot thread but who has a tendency to buy more shoes I'll defer to other senior boot only people. LOL
