Carmina Tärnsjö Wingtip - Oscar instep on an oxford is low for me but the leather is awesome so deciding to keep it. Hopefully I don't regret my decision in the future...

It appears as something "shrunken". However, I have seen many buffalo leather shoes that have an extremely heavy grain.

Buffalo on the whole shoe. The quarters have a heavier texture - just like it had on the double monk.

Wow ...... I thought they would be a similar brown to the shoes but its a very dark brown ...... almost black.

My feet are wide at the toes like an american E with high instep. I haven't worn them out yet so no fit pics.. but fit depends on your feet. The last is pretty comfortable at the toe area with a generous toe box just that I find most Carmina lasts to be lower on the instep than I would like
