They're beautiful! I'm going to wear them to my interview tomorrow. Even if the interview goes poorly, I'll know my feet look good.

Feet look good=You feel good=You ace the interview.

Isn't that essentially why we do any of this anyway? Good luck, buddy.

turned out to be the most expensive shoe i never wore (had to return it)

My gosh, that is an utter horror story.

Now I feel just a little bit more fortunate that the tax here is "just" 7%.

I would like to propose a GMTO Carmina Split Toe Derby, hope to gain some traction before the next wave of price hike:

Patrik is looking into whether the toe tips are required on all of the orders or whether they can be ordered in a one off fashion.

So far we have two confirmed interest.

My incoming EGs are going to hurt for sure.

The U.S. customs fee for leather shoes made in Europe seems to be 5%. I thought it was 8.5% but the people from FedEx says 5% and that's what our clients seem to be charged. That's like $17 for a pair of Carmina. Maybe not worth going through a lot of hassle with FedEx for that amount? smile.gif

Anyways, when we launch our new U.S. web store you won't have to worry about that, price will include any customs and handling fees.

I really love how you guys are dealing with a (somewhat shitty) situation forced on you by European and British shoe/bootmakers due to the strong dollar. Not to keep kissing your ass, but you'll still be my goto for awesome footwear (even if I might wait longer for that right pair of Galways because of this).

I think for welted footwear it's supposed to be 8.5%. That said most people just put leather shoes or something like that. Or "men's brogues" so fedex can call you and ask what they are

That said Skoab has always been on their paperwork and never any issues like most other European stores not using postal service

Skoak has given me the thumbs up to add the price here. As described above, the shoe would cost 8800 SEK ex vat. If metal toe tips are included it will be an additional 640 SEK ex vat. When I googled the SEK to USD it gave me an estimated US cost of $1036 with toe tips being around an extra $75. So far, two confirmed interest:

Tallcane
CFML

Hope some other F widthers join in.

Gaziano Girling Mountain Ram Thorpe (Not Kudu)

Taken down - broke the internet.

As promised, first photo. I have no clue how to use this camera yet so bare with me. Special thanks to @Leaves for making this happen and @rydenfan for reminding me that I have small feet!
