"Kinda" is right. Patrik helped me out with an order directly despite it being Sunday. My thanks.

Skoak has given me perfect sizing recommendations on Carmina and StC (relative to G&G).  You should feel confident in an online order even without being fitted.

I will have to tip my metaphoric hat to GG on his one. Dean and GG have always gone out of their way to humor my ridiculous requests, and help me when issues have arrived. Combine that with GG having the best fit for me in a RTW/MTO shoe, and you have yourself a devoted GG customer. It's really just icing on the cake that they continue to offer reasonable pricing, MTO flexibility, and selling policies.

On the other hand, the one pair of EG i have bought (DOak Westminster) came in extremely dark, and had a broken buckle strap. Had to send it back for a remake. It was a lovely shoe, but EG definitely did not make a good first impression with me...

The EB Adelaide wingtip is pure sex, but I'm starting to feel that for a casual style, the 804 needs a casual element like Norvegese to balance out its sleekness. I believe Mack got a Jodhpur on 804 with this detail and it looks great.

Also, Etrusco might be the most versatile color I've ever seen. Crazy amount of options.

Some great MTOs, fellas.

EB Walnut Suede Derby Wingtips came in the mail today, from Skoak odd stock (talk about a ridiculous deal).  So lovely. Even better in person.

I'm also now in love with the 363MOD last.  Fits like a glove.

Very nice did you size down half from your normal EB size or took normal size?

I'm usually 10.5D/E US, depending how high the instep is (mine is rather high).  I went with my usual to 9.5UK and they fit great.  My spectators are also 9.5UK on the 846 last, and I'd say they're just a little bit more snug than these are.  I think the high EB instep is works well with my feet.

For $253 + free shipping I feel like I got away with some highway robbery here. There's a little discoloration around a couple of the eyelets on one of the shoes, which is why I'm assuming they ended up in odd stock:

But I'm not going to complain about that. These are going to be my fall/spring workhorses and out in inclement weather given the dainite soles, so it's not a big deal to me (especially given the price).

Tell me about it. Its always a good day when you luck out and get a pair from odd stock. Of course there are no guarantees your size will end up there. But it sure did about a month or so ago when I got my pair of EG Shanklins that way.

Have basically been traveling for the last month and the intra-thread searching is not the best, so apologies for a question that I'm sure has been asked, any news on the timeline for the GMTO of the Simpson museum calf?

If you're talking about the recent 905 chukka gmto in burgundy museum calf it's apparently October?
