Lama is great color, buffalo leather is also textured but it is subtle texture.
Do you know your sizes?
74945 last comes in only one width.
946 last comes in a four different widths.

I say chukka on 360 degree welt norvegese might look great.

For example chukka on 946 last or 74945 last?

I love that first pair!!!!! I wonder who's MTO that is.  haha. It is on a special last though, so that is why the toe is different.

I like the EB "Loden" color more than the Carmina, so going with them now

Uhh, I think thats more of a leaves question, but I don't have any problem with it. (Unless it means it would have to be blake stitched, in which case i'd rather not)

Good lord man that would be a spectacular makeup.
Leaves did mention to me recently that the grain on the EB buffalo is very different that say Carmina's, and EB's buffalo grain pattern is very very subtle,

I'd love to commit but I think I'm just too stretched.
Hope your makeup ends up great!

looks like eb uses "water buffalo" whereas carmina uses "buffalo" aka "shrunken buffalo". the latter is usually made from the shoulders and rears

I tend to agree - have that color from both makers and the EB version is more restrained and thus more versatile.

Ah, I didn't know that.

But thanks for the information.

Those buffalo monks are still weighing heavily on my mind.
