My fear is that I have a suede adelaide which is a hair snug in the toe box so I would prefer to have the chukka a bit wider. Going up 1/2 a size wouldnt be an option because the shoes I have already feel like they are on the border of too long.

@venividivicibj would you consider a rounder toe?

We could try the 363, but Laufer is a wide like you, and he said that lasts doesn't work for him (he's tried 3 sizes), so I wouldn't risk it.

363 does not come in wide widths.I wish it did come in wide widths.

Hey everyone, bumping this back to the top because it appears we have 5 confirmed parties for our GMTO.

We're organizing a GTMO for a burgundy punched captoe makeup on a Rain last, Tomir sole. If we can get six onboard the price will be 2880 SEK ex VAT (3600 SEK including VAT for clients within the EU).

Coonversion is about 336 USD.

As stated above, we have a solid 5 people and really need one or two more! Ordering will take place through Skoak. If you're on board or at least interested, we welcome you to express your interest within the thread!  Here's the link:

Here is a sample picture of the model that will be made, albeit with a different color and last.

If more Enzo lasts came in H width, I would be a whole lot poorer.

Hmm, I wonder if the folks at Skoak could suggest another last that would come a slight bit wider? I am definitely wanting a chukka because I was game for the EG before.

804 last comes in wide width, H only.
By the way for those of you who find EB shoes just tad bit too long but not enough to size down, you can order full sock liners to compensate for the space.

The original last proposed how does it compare to the 946? I have that and its very chiseled in the toe box, so if this is a bit more rounded and has more room in the toe box it would work for me.

No, it comes in G, which is "regular" wide. H is "extra" wide, and only offered on the 946.

Trust me, I've investigated this fully. smile.gif

Skoak description -

74945 last - rounded last with chiseled profile

vs

946 last - chiseled last

Ok Im game. In the first image of the chukka it seemed to be squared off.

Also prefer suede color #8 instead of #6

74945 is sleek rounded. I chose it for my button boots. It's quite lovely.

Can you compare the fitting to any other shoe manufacturers? Vass? EG? Carmina?
