Dude, I think it is actually the fact that I wear those Carmina all the time in all kinds of bad weather.

They have quite a bit of wear.  Like, way more than any others...

But yeah, The creases are way deep and pronounced in those Carmina.

Its almost like the toe is unstructured, almost unlined feeling.  And the shell on those feels way different than any other pair.  Almost like rubber...

I really think it is several variables that are beyond my control.

Anyway, I still like them.  Thanks for the constructive criticism @justinkapur and @venividivicibj

I mean the most important thing is that you feel comfortable in the shoes. To me aesthetically its just where and how they crease. Only you can answer how they feel and fit.

On a separate note both PTBs are beautiful.

Thank You Sir.

The Carmina fit tighter across the vamp for sure.  They are actually crazy comfortable TBH.

But yeah, the rolls are deep bro...like real deep...

When I look at them from the top down, I can see the rolls conforming to my foot shape, its as if I can see the outline of the top of my foot and the manner in which the cordovan conforms to it...different for sure.

Now that my Carmina adelaides were released from customs jail, I wanted to post a few quick pics just out of the box!

Nope, no stock pulls. Everything you see in our shop is basically unique to Skoaktiebolaget. Next Bonafè delivery of RTW will be in August, and yes there will be rubber soles. And boots.

These kinds of make ups, there can be no hesitation, pull the trigger. I stocked this style in large numbers because I knew it would be successful but it's almot sold out anyway. It's one of those good problems. Maybe we'll do a re run on Simpson?

Waiting for these was frustrating (as I paid for them in full about four weeks ago), but I guess there was an issue with EG and providing shoe trees (which I don't yet have and I guess wouldn't be delivered until late summer). That frustration completely dissipated as soon as I got a look at these, which I just picked up today:

My first Galway (and EG that I bought retail). It all makes sense now...

Not just Skoak...had similar issues with Vass returned / exchanged shoes. I would avoid shipping with Fedex

It's a fabulous and very popular boot there is no doubt. Most get it, few do not.

Get it as in understand it.

Congrats!!!

I am thinking a mto Bonafe version of the chestnut St. James. Kill two birds that way. Something like the chestnut st. James and trying a Bonafe.
