Those russian calf are so sweet.  Congrats on the expansion, Leaves.  Your current prices are pretty unbeatable.

In all seriousness couldn't skoaks pricing encourage St.C to expand operations 1500 pairs a year doesn't sound feasible.

Flights are almost cheap enough for it to be cheaper to fly over there rather than buying even a single pair locally in NYC.  Crazy.

They are great looking!

Is it just a special grain finish or actually a special Russian calf? @Leaves ?

haha. I guess you are right, plus you get a nice trip in a beautiful country!

This may be a dumb question, but what's the advantage of attending a trunk show if there is no MTO fee? I thought that was the main benefit of the shows? I would assume Skoak would have swatches and different lasts to try in their store at all times now.

Phillip Carr measuring your foot and completely sizing you would be the biggest benefit.

exactly. plus they offer the chance to modify a last to fit your foot better. They also can even make a custom last for you if a normal last won't fit you well.

I don't meant o break the StC party. But was able to walk around with my Shannons (but weather didn't agree so they'll get the elements tomorrow)

Back to StC, I assume we can order designs (not currently in your selection) through you? I still want their double monk boot...

The double monk boot is really something amazing. I like the single monk strap chukka as well. It reminds me of an old style shoe from the 1970s.

i figured that it isn't the russian reindeer but I guess that it could be a calf from Russia instead of just a calf that is treated differently to achieve the look.

I think it's just called Russia calf. It's the tanning process and hatch grain pattern that characterizes it. I don't know if (and rather doubt) the calves or tanned leather actually comes from Russia.
